Upload your photos and videos

Everything in Fotofolio starts with an album. Once you have one, uploading is drag-and-drop — photos and video go in the same way.

Upload to an album

1. Go to Dashboard → Albums.
2. Open an album, or click New Album to make one.
3. Drag files onto the upload area, or click to browse and select them.
4. Watch the progress bars — you can keep working while they finish.

What you can upload

• Photos — common formats plus HEIC/HEIF from iPhones. We automatically generate fast, responsive web versions so your galleries load quickly, while your originals stay intact.
• Video — uploads to albums alongside photos. Large, multi-gigabyte files upload directly and reliably, and we capture a poster frame for the thumbnail.

Tips

• Upload your best, not everything. A tight album reads as more professional than a huge one.
• Mixed albums are fine. Photos and videos can live together; visitors get a Photos / Videos filter to switch between them.
• Originals stay safe. We keep your master files untouched and serve optimized copies — Fotofolio is your delivery layer, not a replacement for your own backups.
